The Core of Consciousness: How Spirituality Can Help Your Business

by Jeffrey E. Edelheit Divinity, the Choice of God

What is the Core of Consciousness? Once found, you can apply it toward business and its relationship to the universe. The article you are about to read will support your efforts to address change and validate inner thoughts and feelings.

Chapter One

The Core of Consciousness is the very essence of the power behind the universe. First let us appease our logical side by proving that all creation of matter is, by design, infinite. Take a moment and look up at the sky during the day; you will see the ceiling of daytime. We know from prior experience that stars do exist beyond the blue ceiling. Then during a clear evening, look up at the sky and logically see if you can imagine how the universe can end. Is it even possible; is there a great wall that says end? At this moment, I recommend you give your mind a rest.

Our entire universe is based upon perpetual motion with a premise that it is never ending but in a constant state of growth. Along with this is the evolutionary process of growth based upon cause, effect and balance; almost each occurring simultaneously and each with a purpose of being, as well as having a natural state of existence. Each particle is related to each other and is required within the entire context of evolution, which translates to each and every particle having a function dependent upon each and every other particle. Our belief is that the earth was formed from a gaseous mass that, when cooled, formed our planet. In the process, oxygen, water and life on millions of levels were also created. I personally relate it to the process of human conception. There is a sperm cell that is coded with genetic information, it matches itself with an egg, a union occurs, an embryonic state is created and life evolves. The life evolves based upon the genetic coding or core of the sperm and egg, the only variable being environmental circumstances, which can greatly alter life.

We have been given the opportunity to replicate life as part of our process of understanding what the life process is. We or at least our egos have taken this further by saying we are now the creators of life without having the benefit of truly understanding or wanting to understand the universal core - especially the premise that all things are related.

As in growing plants and animals for food, we spend billions in research and resources trying to determine how to create the best embryonic state that can produce the most abundant outcome - seeing corn as corn or a cow as a cow, not going beyond the basic appearance to see if the actual state of being is of a natural state. Can it evolve within the normal context of the aspect of universal growth? If the corn is altered and the cow ingests the corn for its growth process, what is the true cause and effect - to the cow, to us using the milk or being fed the meat. Then what cause and effect do we take on? Or will it require the continuation of artificial means to sustain its life? In addition what will be the long-term ramifications of creating an un-natural conception, birth and life cycle? Without understanding the basic fundamentals of the universe, how are we able to replicate life or are we even supposed to? Isn't it time to embrace through understanding and practice real life science?

How does all of this relate to our current status of life in relationship to the Core of Consciousness? One, we, as well all elements of life, are very much interrelated. When one element goes out its natural state, there is an effect to the universal process. It is evident that we are in the process of understanding the universal law of balance and are experiencing cause and effect. It appears simple or should be simple that we need to honor, in action, the other participants of the global process of evolution. What history has shown and our current experience has proven it is time to embrace the Core of Consciousness.

The only barrier is, like looking at the sky during the day and not seeing the stars, we practice thinking out of sight out of mind and pretend we are above the laws of balance and that we are the highest form of life - thereby ignoring the relationship we have to all other particles of life and the honoring forthwith.

Humans are of the opinion that they are empowered to make sole decisions which are based upon our needs to survive. The problem is: from what basis are we making the decisions from? Our minds' thought process and associated personality traits are mainly derived from our own self-created, imaginary realities. These are based upon the related experiences from one lifetime to another, along with the conditions of the governing societies. In a nutshell, our current process is self-serving. The majority of people are only conscious of experiences which occurred during their lifetimes and they are unable to access the universal process, which created life and continues to evolve life. It is by direct association, i.e.: family, religion, organization or special interest groups that we have limited understanding of inter-relationships, but do they relate to the trueness of the universal process that created us in the first place? What is being referred to here is the physical portion of who we are, the body in survival and limited understanding, but when the soul is properly accessed we will see a different way of being and then experience a different relationship to all things. The purpose of the soul is to be the conduit to connect us to all things and to be our universal guide.

With that all said and done we are faced with the question: How do we, as business people and a part of universal creation, develop a balanced environment that is in accordance the universal standard of evolution and abundance? Remember the universe is by definition in a constant state of evolution, practicing balanced prosperity and abundance.

Chapter Two - Recognizing the process

Now we can finally acknowledge, at least to our selves, that our inner knowing has been nagging us to get the universal process and apply it to all things. Looking at the earth and universe, how can you argue with success? A company is only a group of people coming together for a purpose that can be defined at will. First and foremost, remember each venture must be given a soul - a center that is given a unique purpose and standard that is equal to the universal evolutionary process - knowing that the laws of cause and effect are in place to assist you in achieving this state. The key is to have a strong desire to remain fully conscious of the process and purpose.

The easiest thing to do, or at least we think so, is to imitate or create a façade of being a spiritual company - slick brochures, give a percentage to charity, earth logos and have the right buzzwords - and the foundation will support the appropriate growth. So I will share with you what was once told to me: An Angel of Dark can appear as an Angel of Light, but an Angel of Light cannot appear as an Angel of Dark - meaning if we are of light, truly then all that we do must be towards the perfection of our understanding of the process. If we are really not wanting to be of light but benefit from the façade of being spiritual, then we will only draw to us and others that follow the ramifications of having a false core of consciousness.

If you are truly to represent light or the true essence of all that is, then this must be integrated fully in all processes or you must at least be willing to admit you just want to take the perceived easy route of creating a façade. The Ultimate goal being given is the opportunity to achieve a condition that allows for the natural process of growth to occur as opposed to being restricted by self-limiting interests. One company I visited that was centered in a known Spiritual Community had the outward appearance of WOW! But once I got to see behind the façade it was a totally different story as the body count was extremely high.

Chapter Three: Rules for becoming a part of being the process

First Rule: All things are created equal and are inter-related. Every employee and participant needs to be given understanding of their importance to the company and their relationship to the process as a whole. Add to this the defining of their role as individual, within their department along with expected responsibilities. We expect executives to be able to make the right decision and take their responsibilities seriously - why should this differ from any other employee? The only difference is at what stage they are expected to be able to make decisions and take appropriate actions. Monitoring systems need to be put in place to insure a solid process. Your role as the key manager then becomes that of a mentor or spiritual leader - spiritual as it relates to insuring the integrity of the process.

Second Rule: Have communication on all levels and do not foster undercurrent management. To me, undercurrent management is when you make everything appear to be calm and flowing but underneath is a deadly energy sucking action that has its own rules and usually has an associated body count. Meetings conducted by a mentor allow space for each participant to become active and empowered and give an opportunity to be responsible.

Third Rule: Every part of the process has to be conducted in accordance with the core. If your core is truly universal you will base your company on creating more than consuming. At this time our society as a whole is in a feeding frenzy, both emotionally and physically, with no regards to balance or respect. Be conscious of utilizing natural resources, i.e. recycled paper, soy based inks, and minimal use of natural resources wherever possible, except the natural resources provided for as accordance universal law, wellness programs for employees, bringing of natural light into the workplace and educating your sales representatives and vendors of your expectations and why. A company's true assets include the core, the people, the products, the customer and way of being.

Fourth Rule: Keep your head out of the sand by maintaining and utilizing solid accounting systems and good business practices. This includes spending funds only as available or incurring debt when the company can service the debt. If you cannot pay a supplier on time, the size of the debt is increased, as the vendor then needs to place additional energy to make up for their loss of use of capital. The financial statements are one of the monitoring tools that must be seen as sacred. Priority needs to be placed on accuracy of the data including tracking and monitoring of cash, expenses, debts, resources, costs and revenues. Make the development of your business plan a group process so that everyone can be given an opportunity to have ownership of its outcome. Members need to understand their responsibility for their part of the profit and loss statement, and I recommend that the financials be openly reviewed. This would include actual discussions and group interaction on growth and improvement. A true team player in the realm of accounting will always find a way to present data in a palatable format. Most choose not to do this and the accounting reports become a useless tool.

Fifth Rule: There was a recent movie with Bruce Willis called the Fifth Element. In the end, all of the elements needed to come together in order to facilitate the maximum use of power. They were, earth, wind, fire, water with the fifth element being love. We need the element of love in order to realize true success of any process. This includes self-respect.

No one can guarantee the success of your venture by following the above rules, but I can say, beyond any shadow of a doubt, is that in today's world if what you are doing is right for the time, the universe will assist you. You just need to stay conscious and have consciousness within your development process in order to receive or know you are being given to.
