Intentions versus Action
by Samone Myers Director of CURE (www.earthcure.org) and Circle the Pyramid Event Coordinator “I will have to check in with Spirit and get back to you” is what I have been hearing often lately. What is unusual about this is that it usually comes on the heels of the person just receiving goose bumps or feeling euphoric talking about something exciting like going to a place you have always wanted to visit. My first reaction after hearing the above is to ask, “What do you think the wonderful feeling is or where do you think the goose bumps come from?” It is Spirit’s way of giving you an affirmation. Still this does not seem to be “enough” for those that doubt their own intuition and knowingness. So a spiritual analogy came to me that I would like to share regarding intentions versus action. The analogy is this: You have an intention. It may be the greatest intention that you have ever had. However without action, it goes no further. It is like you are sitting in a car. An intention is when the car is in neutral. Nothing is happening. You are just sitting there. But, you are in the driver’s seat. So unless you take action, i.e., put the car in gear, will anything happen. And once in gear (action), the Universe MUST respond. You may move forward as an affirmation of your intention and timing. Or you may come to abrupt stop or go into reverse. The latter is an obvious sign to take this intention no further. But, make no judgment. Just stop and send the intention into the light to be transmuted. All of these responses from the Universe is because Spirit is looking out for your best interests and Highest Good. And more often than not, your intention is being met, but only better! This is when you feel like taking a left or right. It the Universe’s way of acknowledging your intention, but taking you in a direction that is even better than you ever imagined. So the next time you are confronted with something that gives you a wonderful feeling or goose bumps, consider what is happening in the moment. Did you give an intention? Was something presented to you? Did you meet someone? What statements did you make? Then with full knowingness that you are the master of your creations and reality, give your intentions and put the car in gear! By doing so is similar to a quote of mine: “Headed in a direction means your crown chakra gets there first!” Samone Myers has over twenty-five years in project and risk management for the government and industry.
