Psychic Trends in the New Millennium
by Cindy Griffith
So, You've been going to psychics for years now.
Sometimes you go because it is a treat to have
someone spend a half hour focusing on just you
and your needs and sometimes you have an important
decision to make. Over the years you've noticed
a shift in your questions and concerns. Is it just
growing up? Am I a different person? Is this
happening to everyone or just me?
I was recently asked to write a press release titled
"Psychic Trends in the New Millennium. Here is the
result. PS. It's not just you!
New York Cindy Griffith states "The most
extreme of the current trends found coming into
the new millennium has been the change in my
client's focus from relationship or marriage to
looking toward achieving their fulfilment through
their work. I find the average young female or
male is putting off making strong commitments to
personal relationships until their mid to late
thirties so that they can achieve in their career.
This is not to say that relationships are not
important to these people yet they are not expecting
the marriage to fulfill them spiritually or creatively.
In the past, the main question asked was "When will I
find my mate." Today's men and woman are more often
asking about career development, especially about how
they can bring their spiritual beliefs into the
work place.
Another trend is that my client base is shifting from
being predominately single women to include a strong
influx of married men and women that are in their
mid thirties to late sixties. Many of these are
professionals such as corporate management or stock
brokers. This lead to another trend that I am
witnessing as a psychic working in the new millennium.
I find that I am often asked to predict the stock
market, interest rates and company strengths.
Interestingly enough, clients are not asking what is
their job security in the specific company but what
is the companies ability to stay afloat. More often
I am seeing that a client has the insight to
understand that their career strength lies not in
the company being willing to keep them long term,
but in what the company can teach them that will
help them to move onward to the next job opportunity.
They don't expect to stay with a specific company
for more than a few years.
People will always want to know about relationships.
It is human nature to want to connect. Yet, the new
trend is that they are looking for that connection to
compliment them not to complete them."
